There is only one thing that you cannot control on your wedding day, and that is the weather. But for everything else, there is - ME!

You have booked the venue, chosen the best man and bridesmaids, invited your family and friends, and picked out the wedding dress of your dreams. Everything is set for your Big Day. But with the average UK wedding currently costing around £30,000 (source Brides Magazine September 2016 Survey), you want to make sure that your investment in time, care and money is fully rewarded with a day to remember. A stress-free celebration that runs as smoothly as possible, leaving everyone with happy memories.
The key to that is to have someone at your wedding reception as Master of Ceremonies, managing the event smoothly, with the calmness to ensure that nothing is forgotten, and the skill to discreetly handle any problems that arise.

As Toastmaster, I will carry out my duties with authority and dignity, but without being overbearing. I will attend to all the event management, requirements and protocols on the day so as to leave you time to enjoy the occasion with your guests.
In advance of your wedding, I will discuss with you the format of the day, and establish you and your family's personal wishes to ensure that your wedding day goes smoothly and exactly as you want it to.

On the day, I will be at your Reception venue well ahead of your guests to check that such important details such as the seating plan, the sound system, the food and wine are all prepared, as well as liaising with the venue staff who will be serving you. I will act as Master of Ceremonies for the day, announcing such things as the speeches and toasts.

With my historic livery of red tailcoat and formal white tie, I will provide a colourful and distinguished focus at your wedding reception, a "go to" person, intimately acquainted with all the arrangements and able to answer guests' queries.

I am pleased and indeed proud that I am involved just a little bit with the charity Theresa's Tiny Treasures. Theresa is a one-woman charity who travels to support families who have lost babies at different stages of pregnancy, or died shortly after birth. She offers beautiful keepsakes for free, such as photography, casts of hands and feet, prints onto glass, ceramics, dresses to dress babies in, which are made from donated wedding dresses, plus lots of other things. Theresa, not wanting to let families down, often ends up funding these things herself.

On 30 September 2017 I acted as MC and auctioneer for a fund-raising night organised by Verity Gamble at the Knights Hill Hotel, Kings Lynn, and what a successful night it was too. On 27 October 2018 I am involved in the same way for a fund raising masked ball at the Le Strange Arms Hotel, Hunstanton organised by Leah Guy.
This is a wonderful and worthwhile cause, and I am proud that I have been asked to be involved. Why not buy a ticket or two and have a great night out? But if you cannot make it, please consider making a donation. Please support this charitable endeavour.

Understanding your needs and exceeding your expectations
I am also the Watton Town Crier and offer a wake up call to the bride (or bridegroom) and a proclamation as the happy couple arrive at the Reception venue. Please click HERE to visit my Town Crier website to find out more.
